
Thomson Reuters Seeks Scholarship Applicants From Europe, The Middle East, Asia Pacific & Africa

announced that it is seeking applicants from Europe,
the Middle East, Asia Pacific and Africa for its
2008 Roger K. Summit International Scholarship. The €5,000
award is given annually to a promising graduate student
in library and information sciences.
The deadline for applicants is October 24, 2008.
The winner will be announced at the 2008 Online Information
Conference and Exhibition, to be held December 2-4,
2008, in London. Applications are available at gep.dialog.com/scholarship/application.shtml.
Two Roger K. Summit scholarships are awarded annually
to graduate students enrolled in an accredited library
or information sciences program, one in the Americas,
and one in Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific
and Africa.

The scholarship is named in honor of Dialog founder
and Chairman Emeritus Roger K. Summit, a pioneer

in library or information science programs.
